Dear Mickey,
I just spoke with Rhett Dennis and he is grieving heavily over Luigi¹s death. Both Rhett and Luigi were very important people in my life. I¹m going to visit Rhett this summer in NYC.
I hope you and I can meet some day.
Best, Andrea Andrea Minick Rudolph, Director Oryoki Zendo 2133 Market Street, Suite 220 Camp Hill, PA 17011 717 514 3082 http://www.oryokizendo.com

Dear Andrea,
I want so much to connect with Rhett . . . his work is emblazoned on this body . .. this mindstream as you know. Powerful male energy. Beautiful.
Mickey, these pictures are wonderful. Many faces I haven’t seen in ages. Lonnie and Patrick, wonderful joyous shots and what beautiful dancers. Rhett, oh my god, what energy and excitement he generated in his classes. As a young, new little jazz dancer fresh out of ballet, I was spellbound and just a little intimidated and barely holding on. A few years later, I got him and flew. These pictures are wonderful Mickey and new to my eyes. Great Luigi moments.
Hey faithful Betsy,
And there are SO many more . . . it will take me a good couple of years to get all Milton’s shots online, then packed up and shipped to the subjects, THE DANCERS.
I am very gratified by your words, and that it seems to have opened some deep memories in you. I too was captivated by Rhett’s work . . . while having a completely different and rich relationship with Luigi for a short time . . . if I am courageous enough, I will post a short story I wrote called “The Beginning of Apology” . . . that only Luigi-ites will get . . . If I get some cujones energy soon, check out http://WordsofaWanderingDakini.wordpress.com (where I put my personal writing and performance art work, photography, etc . .. lots of Babel)
Annette Coppola is helping me keep track of identifying people so I can put proper attributions from left to right in each photo. Patrick I do not know. Got lots of Lonnie. Can’t recognize Ronnie DeMarco, etc.
When I opened the box of these, it blew my mind with the youthful shots of the guys! I stayed up till 3am just to get them out there at such a timely moment. Long story long . . . GRATITUDE keeps me goin’. Thanks!
Wonderful old shots..so many memories. Thanks for keeping the aura and talent of Luigi and Milton alive.
. . . as are you and Jai . . . love
Oh Mickey …gorgeous shots …thank you for maintaining Milton’s legacy…and now …Luigi’s! ❤
dear dear dear dear Annette . . .
Omg I love it! Thrilled to see my pic included, striped shirt, black tights & jazz shoes leaning against the ‘men’s’ door waiting while wonderful Rhett worked out his choreography to teach us!

Velly velcome, darlink . . . when things calm down, I’m still going to be returning to your post. If you can, after ghastly taxes, ideally, send me your resume, or a 500 word bio paragraph. Hope all is good with you and yours

Thank you so much. I was a student and friend of Rhett, I studied with him in Saratoga and New York. He lives in my body and gave me my career. i teach his warm up aka Luigi and all his combinations. I remember them all. I spent two days with him notating them. We lost track of each other over the years. I will pass this on to many of my friends who studied with him and Luigi. They always ask about him.
Wonderful, Gary! Many more photos to come . . . next, probably John Bates and Rhett.
